近未来都市・香港。街のメインストリートにある、ちょっと怪しい巨大ビル「チョンキンマンション（重慶大厦）」。迷路のような通路に両替所や飲食店が並び、上階には格安ゲストハウスがひしめく。黒人やインド人など100か国以上の人々が行き交う、まさに巨大な人間交差点。移民排斥のニュースが世界を駆け巡る昨今、様々な国の人が入り乱れて暮らすチョンキンマンションから共存のあり方を考える3日間。
